GENERAL TERMS
You and the hotel agree to the terms and conditions for renting a hotel room. The name of the company operating the hotel is Vaslag Eiendom AS (hereinafter referred to as “the hotel”), which you are entering into an agreement with, as stated in the booking confirmation. Unless otherwise agreed, the following rules shall apply. Separate rules apply for conferences and group reservations.

BOOKING AND CONFIRMATION
A booking becomes binding once a room is reserved via the online booking system used by the hotel and paid for in advance. A confirmation is sent via the booking system both by email and SMS. Your mobile phone acts as the key to access both the room and the booking system.

When making a reservation, you must provide your name, mobile number, address, email address, and check-in/check-out dates. It is important that you provide a correct email address and mobile number so you can receive the reservation confirmation.

To book a room at Karivollen Overnatting, you must be at least 18 years old. If you book a room for a minor, you are responsible regardless of whether you are staying with the minor or not.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
Check-in is available from 15:00 every day.
Guests may arrive at any time after 15:00 on the day of arrival.
Check-out is at 12:00 (noon) every day.

CANCELLATION AND NO-SHOW
If you do not show up for your stay, you will be charged for the entire stay.
If cancellation is made more than 48 hours before arrival (with open check-in time set to 12:00 on weekdays), 50% of the booking will be refunded.

If cancellation occurs within 48 hours before arrival, the full amount for the stay must be paid.

EARLY DEPARTURE AND EXTENDING STAYS
Shortening your stay after booking does not entitle you to any refund.
If you wish to extend your stay, the hotel must be notified the day before—at least 24 hours before the current booking ends, i.e., no later than 12:00 on the day before check-out.
Check-out is at 12:00 every day. Check-in is possible from 12:00 every day.

HOTEL OBLIGATIONS AND YOUR RIGHTS
If the hotel cannot provide the room as agreed, you shall, at no additional cost, be offered a room of equivalent or better standard at this or another hotel.
Please specify your preferences when booking to ensure the hotel is adequately prepared.
Our hotel rooms are non-smoking. Guests who violate this policy will be held liable for any resulting costs.

PAYMENT
Bookings must be paid at the time of reservation.
The hotel accepts the most common credit and debit cards.
However, the hotel is not obligated to accept other credit/debit cards, checks, vouchers, or foreign currencies unless this has been agreed upon in advance.

If the stay is to be invoiced, this must also be agreed upon with the hotel in advance.

YOUR PERSONAL SAFETY
Always be aware of where the emergency exits, alarm buttons, and fire extinguishers are located.
Check the information available at the reception and in your room.
As a guest, consuming alcohol in the hotel’s common or outdoor areas is not permitted.

PETS
Pets are unfortunately not allowed.

If a guest violates this policy, they will be held responsible for any associated costs.
